Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Restores, Tunes, Donates and Delivers Piano for use in Music Therapy Services
Media Release. Reno, NV – Cue the piano movers! Strike up the band! It’s a celebration of music, community and helping others this Friday 3/29/19 at 10:30 a.m. The Atlantis Casino Resort Spa proudly donates the piano previously located outside Bistro Napa restaurant to the Note-Ables Music Therapy Services, a local non-profit organization. Atlantis’ many giving programs raise funds, food, clothing, toys and blood to build stronger communities.
When the piano is delivered Friday morning, it will immediately start its new mission to help those in our community with physical, social and mental health needs. Music therapy clients will be in the audience as the band plays the new piano for the very first time. Music therapy is the research-based and therapeutic use of music to help people gain greater health and vitality.

Note-Ables Music Therapy Services address physical, social and mental health needs in our community by offering a range of adaptive music opportunities, music therapy and neurological music therapy services. Board Certified music therapists serve people of all ages with a wide variety of needs and diagnoses.
The Note-Ables Band is a group of professional musicians who shatter the stereotype that people with disabilities have limited talents and abilities. The Note-Ables perform 30-40 gigs a year throughout the Truckee Meadows, while raising the visibility of those with disabilities and their talents.
