Spotlight on Sparkling Wine at Bistro Napa Spirited Dinner 

RENO, NV – Atlantis Casino Resort Spa welcomes celebrated sparkling winery Mumm Napa and G.H. Napa to Bistro Napa on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m.

Mumm Napa’s roots trace back to 1827, when G.H. Mumm’s champagne house was established in Rheims, France. From 1976 until 1979, the company’s founding president and winemaker, Guy Devaux was sent to search for an ideal winemaking area for growing traditional Champagne grapes in the United States, leading to Napa Valley, and more specifically, Rutherford. In 1991, Mumm Napa developed a vineyard in the Carneros Region of Napa Valley. Throughout the years that followed, Mumm rose in prestige, becoming the first California sparkling winery to receive 94 points from Wine Spectator, for its 2004 DVX. Today, Mumm Napa holds true to its original vision of creating the best possible sparkling wines in the United States. Atlantis invites guests to celebrate the holiday early, by enjoying a menu of perfectly paired courses with sparkling wines from this well-regarded wine house.
