Honor Flight Nevada Hosts Extraordinary Movie Event

RENO, NV. — Honor Flight Nevada will host a spectacular movie event at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at 7 p.m.


In conjunction with News 4, KOH AM 780 News Talk, Digiprint, Chester’s Reno Harley-Davidson and Atlantis, Honor Flight Nevada will raise funds to send veterans to Washington, D.C. to see the memorial built in their honor. Since the initial flight of 12 veterans in 2005, Honor Flight has escorted more than 100,000 veterans to our national’s capital.


The movie, Honor Flight, is an inspiring documentary that follows a Wisconsin Honor Flight’s unforgettable journey to visit Washington, D.C. It captures the community coming together to celebrate the veterans, their triumph and their extraordinary stories.

Join local veterans, Blue Star Moms and members of the Jr. ROTC for this special evening. Tickets are $10 and can be bought at the following locations: Atlantis Gift Shop inside Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, The Flag Store, 155 Glendale Ave., Sparks; Bella Salon and Spa, 1910 E. College Pkwy, Carson City; and Chester’s Reno Harley-Davidson, 2315 Market St., Reno. Tickets include a movie snack and candy. The movie is approximately 90 minutes.
