Reno Favorite, Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille, Reopens Following Multi-Million Dollar Renovation
A buffet reimagined, unrivaled
RENO, NEV. – As the market leader in northern Nevada, Atlantis Casino Resort Spa has a reputation for constantly updating its product to stay ahead of trends for the benefit of its guests. A longtime favorite and decades-long winner of Best Buffet in northern Nevada by many publications, Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille continues that tradition of excellence. The buffet was closed on January 4, 2016 for a complete remodel, and less than 10 weeks later, it reopened as a sophisticated restaurant that elevates and redefines the typical buffet experience.
It’s a buffet where all of your senses are heightened. From the warm, inviting entry to elegant fixtures throughout, the new buffet is a visual feast for the eyes. It’s bright and airy, with neutral-colored mosaic tiles, contrasting beautifully with vibrant carpet in the dining areas. Wood planks accent the ceiling, creating dramatic, yet clean lines and aesthetically-pleasing depth.
Expansive options start with an all-new soup and salad bar, and continue through a variety of stations, including:

Sweet scents waft from Dessert Island, which is located in the middle of the restaurant, as guests enjoy freshly spun cotton candy, a scoop of housemade gelato, freshly-baked cheesecake, eclairs, pastries and more.
Above each station, images relating to that particular food are displayed alongside fun facts, providing an element of surprise.

Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille is open daily for breakfast from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m., lunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., and dinner from 4:30 p.m. until 9 p.m. Toucan Charlie’s Buffet & Grille features a Friday and Saturday evening seafood buffet and Sunday champagne brunch.
