Renowned artist to take the stage November 28
RENO, NV – One of popular music’s most deeply revered figures, the creative force behind some of the most well-known recordings in rock history will be taking the stage at Atlantis Casino Resort Spa on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. Join Brian Wilson for a night of live music and memories in Atlantis’ Grand Ballroom.
Wilson was barely out of his teens when he began to create some of the music the world still knows and loves today. The album Pet Sounds featured four hit singles, “Sloop John B,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “God Only Knows,” and “Caroline No.”
His incredible music talent led to nine consecutive gold albums, featuring classics like “Surfer Girl,” “In My Room,” “I Get Around,” “Help Me Rhonda,” and “California Girls,” in addition to more than two dozen Top 40 hits that he helped to co-write, arrange, produce, and perform with the Beach Boys.
In 2001, Wilson was inducted into the “Songwriters’ Hall of Fame” in the presence of his friends, Sir Elton John, Billy Joel, Paul Simon, David Crosby and more. In 2007, he was awarded America’s highest artistic tribute, and received The Kennedy Center Honor.
A true story on the life, love, and genius of Brian Wilson hit movie theaters in 2014. In Love and Mercy, viewers were given a glimpse of Wilson’s personal voyage to become a music icon.
