"My wife and I arranged a bridal shower for thirty guests at the Atlantis Hotel Casino. Because we were out of the area, we accomplished most of the planning and menu selections via email and phone calls. Carol Thompson, the catering manager, was exceptional in all respects. She provided excellent advice on the room setup, menu options and amounts, cake display, and decorations. She responded to our questions in a timely fashion. The food we ordered was gourmet both in quality and display. Our selections included imported and domestic cheeses, vegetable crudites and spinach dip, scallop and shrimp mango ceviche shooters, teriyaki chicken salad on Belgian endive, potato samosas with cucumber-yogurt dipping sauce, Florentine mushroom caps and a spectacular cake. The beer and wine selections were excellent and reasonably priced. At the beginning of the shower, the shift managers met with us and introduced our wait person, Angel. The executive pasty chef delivered the cake and spoke with us also. During the event, Angel was extremely professional, ensuing that the wine was open, plates cleared and food presented. Our stay at the Atlantis was also very pleasant. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed several meals at the Oyster Bar with excellent service by Kathlyn, our server both days. The sushi bar, all you care to eat, was wonderful. The Purple Parrot served a good breakfast. My wife and I highly recommend the Atlantis as a hotel, restaurant and venue for a large social event such as a shower or wedding reception. Everyone we contacted was most courteous and professional."
