Red Deck Productions returns to Atlantis Casino Resort Spa to film High Stakes Hold’em™ Season 2 on Sunday, November 6, 2011 and Monday, November 7, 2011. The cutting-edge poker series, High Stakes Hold’em™ is best recognized for its presence on Comcast SportsNet California. Red Deck Productions filmed its inaugural season at Atlantis this past March.
“We [Red Deck Productions] are very excited to return to Reno and the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa to film Season 2 of High Stakes Hold’em,” said Eric Ulis, founder and CEO of Red Deck Productions. “Season 2 promises many exciting changes, including new big name poker players playing much higher stakes, an updated graphics package, and other special surprises that will be revealed when Season 2 begins airing in January 2012.
The High Stakes Hold’em™ Showdown begins on November 4, 2011 and culminates with the Main Event Final Table. Anyone playing in the Main Event will appear on Season 2. “Our expectation is that Season 2 will launch with distribution to approximately 50 million households across the United States,” said Ulis.
The High Stakes Hold'em Showdown will offer players an opportunity to win big and a chance appear on two special episodes of High Stakes Hold'em Season 2, featuring the action from the Final Table. Players may buy into the two-day Main Event, starting Saturday, November 5, 2011, for $1,060.
