The win totals for each team has been set by the Atlantis Sports Book, and the Bengals' over/under is set at nine.
The Atlantis Sports Book in Reno, Nevada was the first to come out with win totals for each NFL team heading into the 2013 season, according to the National Football Post's Joe Fortenbaugh, and the Bengals' over/under has been set at nine.
2013 Total: 9 (Over: -115, Under: -115)
2012 Total: 7.5 (Over: -130, Under: even)
2012 Record: 10-6
Betting lines can be a little confusing for some, so let me explain. The -115 for over and under means that in order to win $100 on a bet that the Bengals will win more than nine games, you would need to put down $115 (so you would receive the $100 in winnings, the $115 original bet for a $215 payout).
So, for the Bengals, the odds are pretty much even that they'll either win more or less than nine games. The over/under may change as we get closer to the season, and there's a good chance the odds will change. Every tiny little thing from injuries to starting lineup changes can change betting odds in sports.
So, if you were looking to win some money, what side would you lean towards?
